Honored ContributorIn the list of supported features of system verilog in quartus (http://quartushelp.altera.com/15.0/mergedprojects/hdl/vlog/vlog_list_sys_vlog.htm), type parameters are not present. No way to program generic algorithms. Let us hope this will improve
