pin number already assigned to a node

Hi, i try to use pin planner for the first time. I want to assign an output to a specific pin , however this is not possible because this pin is already assigned to a 'node' in the list. H...

Hi,

If I understood right, you want to assign your new created node (Lets say Node_X) to allready occupied pin location PIN_ZN by Node_Y?

node name

direction

location

Node_Y

Output

PIN_ZN

Node_X

Output

Since two nodes can not be assigned to same location, remove whole node (Node_Y) from pin planner and from your top level file and then assign your desired location to your new node.
