Pin name changes on compile

Hi, I'm using an Altera DE2 to prototype an ALU, and for just general research/prototyping. I've just hit a major wall in creation. For some reason, which just started out of nowhere, pin names are no longer corresponding with actual pin values. For example, on the schematic page, setting an output pins name to LEDR[7] will automaticly relate it to the proper pin value. I don't know why, but when I compile I get an issue that says that its not assigned to an exact location. When I open the pin assignment window, it shows that the name has changed from LEDR[7] to LEDR7, which dis-associates it with the proper bus of LEDs. I have no idea what to do, and it is insanely frustrating. If anyone can help out, it would be much appreciated.
