parameter editor

In the handbook it says something about a 'parameter editor' when I select IP component in IP catalog.

But the megawizard pops up? any ideas I'm running 14.01 latest update.

    What device? I believe some of the IP for pre-Arria 10 devices still use the old MegaWizard, you just access it through the IP Console. (For me the big one was how to open it, since I couldn't launch the MegaWizard first. But if you just go to File -> Open, or find it in the IP tab beside the hierarchy browser, that works too.)

    I'm doing some Max II designs.

    Perhaps you are right about pre Arria 10 devices dunno. I really wish they would update the manual to reflect such things if it's correct.

    hie DrForbin,

    it would be helpful to include the handbook you are referring to in any future posts, =) that would make it easier for everyone to help resolve your issue.

    And in each of the Handbooks / Guides / documents, there's a FEEDBACK / SEND FEEDBACK link that you can use to provide your input back to the Altera folks.

    This way the right folks would be informed of the "outdated-ness" of the documents.

    Hi Drforbin,

    What Rysc mentioned is correct. Currently, only A10 will have the IP parameter editor pop up. All the pre-A10 devices will still pop up the Megawizard to create/edit the IP parameters.
