Op conditions

I'm doing the timing analysis on our device at both 0deg and 85deg. At 0deg the timing is approx -400ps and at 85deg it's around -100ps out. The question is that I've never really thought too much at what I can realitically expect the temperature range for the device to operate over. For obvious reasons I'm trying to acheive timing at both conditions.

What temp range typically do we see the bigger Altera devices runing at?

    Hi Witty,

this are the temperature range for certain application areas:

    Commercial 0°C to 100°C

    Industrial -40°C to 100°C

    Extended -40°C to 125°C

    Military -55°C to 125°C

    Automotive -40°C to 125°C

Look to the Altera homepage to find out which device is characterized for which temperature range. As far as I know you will find at least "Commericial" and "Industrial".

That are not different devices, only different timing models will be used.

    Kind regards
