No trigger in Signal tap

I have a simple SPI connection between my FPGA and a Raspberry pi. In signal tap, I am looking at a clk, data pin, and an enable pin. I also have a counter signal so I can tell where I am. My trigger is on a transition of the enable pin. My signal Configuration is Transitional mode. All four items I am watching are black. Signal tap stalls in this mode waiting for a signal. It will run in continuous mode. Please help.

Here is a picture of my screen. At this point, I read data form the FPGA to R Pi. However, Signal tap will not catch the data.

The status says "Waiting for trigger". That means the enable signal is not transitioning. The storage qualifier has nothing to do with it. It might be best to turn the storage qualifier off for now and figure out why the trigger is not happening.
