NIOS II C/C++ not found in Eclipse v12.1

Hello,

I have done the hardware part of my project which is CRC Accelerator. Now when I want to develop software using the NIOS II IDE I am having problem. There is no option of NIOS II C/C++ in the window menu when I point to "open perspective". I am using v12.1. Please somebody help me with this.

Here is a quick tutorial on how to set up NIOS environment from your quartus project: https://sites.google.com/site/fpgaandco/niosii-standalone

Go to the "Software Setup" section.

You first need to start your project and bsp project before you can start with coding the NIOS in C (or C++).
