Need to reconfigure the device

Hi,

I want to Run the simple counter program in NIOS BOARD (Device EP1S10F780C6). But the problem is when i Sitch ON the power on Board The LEDS on Board are continuously glowing and Dual Digit display also showing some digits...

This behavior is showing continuously even i Reset the CPU and reset FPGA configuration.

Iam not getting is the device is in good condition?

or is there any settings needs to reset.could you please help me on this

    Here's a few things to check:

    1. What kind of a quartus license do you have? Is you .sof file time limited? If so, everytime you power off and then on the board, the previous programming will be cleared, and it will run the startup sequence. Make sure you use the Quartus programmer again every time you turn on the board.

    2. Have you added the correct pin assignments? Have you correctly hooked up the reset key and the clock in your top level module?

    I am using Web edition of Quartus Tool.

    and i hooked the correct pins which are given in user guide

    Clock: pin_K17

    reset: pin_AC9.
