ModelSim Se vs ASE Startup Time

Hi guys,

I'm a newbie so maybe this is written down somewhere in the 6000 pages scattered about, but I was hoping somebody has a quick answer.

When I start MODELSIM SE from Quartus, it runs a script to recompile all of the altera libraries. When I use the Altera ASE version, its also loads all the altera libraries into the workspace, but its fast and does not recompile everything.

I would like my SE to be fast at loading, but I dont really want to modify the script unless this is a widely done by others. I'm new at model sim so I havn't had alot of experience.
