Honored Contributor[ModelSim] How to change the prompt?
Hi All,
How is it possible to change the prompt in the ModelSim Transcript window? I'd like it will show the current path (some echo from the execution of the pwd command). So, instead of VSIM> I'd like to see something like following: c:/unit/<unit_name>/scr/ I know how to change a prompt in Linux, but how can I change it in ModelSim? Thank you!4 Replies
Altera_ForumLook in the hi reference manual. There is a menu seeing to change it.

cannot find how to change the prompt in the referred by you manual... could you please let to know the page number where it's described?
