ModelSim 6.6c Unable to Checkout a License

Hello,

I am having trouble opening Model Sim. I thought this was a license free version.

It says i am unable to check out a license. Anyone ever experience this and how did you fix it.

    ModelSim-Altera Starter Edition does not require a license, ModelSim-Altera Edition does

    That is what I am using but when i try and open it i get this error.

    Did you solve this problem? I'm having the same one and I'm trying to use Modelsim 6.1 Altera Starter Edition (72sp3_modelsim_ae_free.exe).
