Got a silly question : does anybody know what is the latest Quartus II version which still supports SOPC BUILDER ? I did not find this information on Altera Web site. Many thanx.
Honored ContributorI'm not sure what the final version to support it is, but I recently used 12.1sp1 to open an SOPC Builder file to confirm it worked still, and then proceeded to convert it to Qsys. The conversion mainly involved modifying _hw.tcl files. Once I had the Qsys system built in 12.1sp1, I tested it under 15.0 and 14.1. It wasn't too painful :)
Cheers, DaveHonored ContributorThanx a lot Dave. I confirm that quartus 12.1 sp1 is the last version including sopc builder. I got a message telling this after launching sopc from quartus.
