is Quartus 17.1.0 Lite Edition's RTL Simulation with ModelSim-Altera suppurated in Ubuntu 18.04.1 LTS?

This is a known issue with the Quartus Tools and Ubuntu 17x and higher. Intel Tools work well and are tested with Ubuntu 16.04 only. You can refer to the following thread for fixes and how to get the tools working on Ubuntu 17x and higher:
