Is it necessary to launch Modelsim from Quartus II Tools menu every time?

Hello I am using ModelSim-Altera as RTL simulator. And I am using NattoiveLink for Megafunction simulation. I have to launch simulation from menu of Tools > RTL simulation on Quartus II so ...

or simply run the script files in the \simulation\project directory. The script files are .do files

in the modelsim command window, type:

do run_my_sim.do
