This is in fact a bug in V10.0, and will hopefully be fixed in V10.1.

I was going to say that it would both be nice for us, and also helpful for Altera itself, if we would have some (unofficial) Altera presence in the board. In cases like this, it really doesn't make much sense to insist in the OP filing an SR. An Altera employee could easily see this thread, check it and file the bug.
But seems davka either works for Altera, or has some good insider info. Either way, that's good news.
