Intel Quartus Prime licensing

1. Intel only offers the entry-level for Intel® Quartus® Prime Lite Edition software. This software supports selected devices, provides limited feature support and Quartus lite only generate a time_limited.sof file not for commercial products. 2. For Quartus Prime Standard version it is a perpetual / permanent license, only licenses for development kits are non-perpetual licenses. Licenses for other software’s are perpetual licenses.

3. The license is backward compatible. It will support any version released prior to maintenance expiry date even if it's expired, you can continue using the same version of Quartus Prime Standard license next year.
