15 years agoThe developers suggested a workaround on the bug report that works for me:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/488274 sudo mount --bind /dev/bus /proc/bus sudo ln -s /sys/kernel/debug/usb/devices /proc/bus/usb/devices Add these lines to /etc/rc.local (without the sudo) to make the USB Blaster work on startup. Remove the old usbfs method from /etc/fstab I also contacted Altera support and got: --- Quote Start --- Thank you for reporting this issue to us. I have filed an enhancement request to our software team to address this issue. It is now temporarily set to be considered by Quartus II v10.1. --- Quote End --- --- Quote Start --- Quartus II v10.1 is temporarily scheduled to be released by end of this year. If the change is made in Quartus II v10.1, you can expect it by end of this year. --- Quote End ---
