Thanks for posting this, worked perfectly for me on Jaunty 9.04 x64.

I found I had to launch quartus with the --64bit switch otherwise I got a segfault. I believe this can also be set with an environment variable.

Only problem I have had is Quartus crashes when trying to open the Tools...Options menu.
