How to know the suffix meaning?

From some example, I know some meaning of suffix by my guessing. Ex. "clk" is the clock pin of a D flip-flop. "q" is the output pin of a D flip-flop. "~0" to "~*" are the duplicate nets. ...

I don't know which document I can refer.

For example, I know inclk[*] is the generated clock pin of PLL from "drive_pll_clocks" command.

I know that the "_clk" is the clock pin of a D flip-flop from some SDC constraint example.

I want to know the the suffix meaning.

Does there have some document for reference? Thank you very much.
