How do I display board (DE10-LITE) content on the screen?

Hi

After completing the Programmer for the code in the board that I am using, how can I display the content of the code on an external screen? I used a vga cable between the port and a side screen? Are there other things I should do..... I programmed the tic tac toi game and I programmed its code on the board (DE10-LITE) after that I used a vga cable to connect the screen to the board in order to display the game on the screen, but This did not happen. What is the problem and how can I display the game on the screen? Is there a specific step or thing that I must do

    You do know that the VGA connector on that board is just a simple connector attached to the FPGA pins via D/A resistor ladders.

    There is no inherent VGA display capability UNLESS you implement a VGA video generator function in your FPGA logic.

    For reference, the TerASIC system CD "DE10-Lite_v.2.1.0_SystemCD" for that board has a VGA demonstration application in
    the Demonstrations / VGA_Pattern folder. You should look at that.

    Hello,


    I agree with ak6dn. Please take a look at the design example provided by Terasic for this board. You can connect the VGA through the VGA connector on board. The FPGA design including the VGA IP is included in the design example that ak6dn gave.
