Failure to generate companion license for Modelsim-Altera

I am trying to generate a companion license for my home computer by opening the window "Generate Companion/Temporary Check-out Licenses". However, every time the hostid in the generated license file ...

Hi,

I tried to regenerate the license but I am getting an error message that requires 8-character hostid (see attachment). Usually hostid's are 12-characters.
