Error trying to generate encrypted FPGA configuration file

Hi Folks,

I am trying to encrypt the FPGA configuration file and I am getting an error. I am using Quartus II 14.0.

I referring to the document AN-556 titled: "Using the Design Security Features in Altera FPGAs" for the procedures to generate an encrypted FPGA configuration file and the key programming file.

Here is the error message:

Any ideas what might be wrong?

I noticed a line in the app note (AN-556) stating: "To enable the design security feature, you can obtain a license file from Altera Technical Support." Is this true? Do I need a special license to enable the Quartus II SW to generate encrypted configuration files in Quartus II 14.0?

If I need an additional license, what is the name of the license?
