Does "convert programming files..." work for time-limited SOF files?

I have designed a system with a NIOS II (e) soft processor and Altera triple speed ethernet MAC (evaluation mode) on a MAX 10 10M50 dev board. I am trying to write the hardware configuration to on-chip flash but when i try to add the SOF in the "convert programming files" it does not get added. There is no error or message displayed.

Quartus Prime Version: 18.1 Lite

    Hi, You cannot convert sof file with limited time access. The only way to test it by directly program the sof file into the device
