DDR2 AFI interface

Hi,

I am working with the altera ALTMEMPHY megafunction, and looking to replace it's controller with a custom version.

Ideally, I think I would like to be using the new AFI interface, however, it seems that it is not currently supported on StratixIII devices.

Does anyone know if Quartus 8.2/9.X intends to expand AFI support across more device families, and if so when I should plan to redo this work?

    Can you file an SR(Service Request) and let everyone know? I've seen build a controller using the original interface, and the AFI looks much, much, much easier.

    I'm told DDR2 AFI support for S3/S4 will be available in Quartus 9, due end Q1.
