cyclone IV and quartus versions

Hi

Does anyone know what is the earliest Quartus version that supports Cyclone IV?

I understand that versions 10.x are unstable and would like to use 9.x if possible. (I'm currently working with 8.1)

    9.1sp2 is fine, although timing params for Cyclone IV are preliminary only. (The Cyclone IV GX development kit was released with QII 9.1)

    I'm currently trying out 10.1sp1 and it looks promising, but I'll stick to 9.1 to for the internal simulator to simulate my 'small' building blocks.

    Hi,

    Q9.1sp2 does not support all Cyclone IV devices. From the GX family only the EP4CGX15 is fully supported. The supported devices for a special Quartus version are listed in the "Device Support Release Notes" for this version.
