Hi,
device "support" files are downloadable from altera's website (just go to altera.com => Downloads => webEdition => devices). Nevertheless it's strange that these should have been "lost" - maybe it's worth first to check "which" devices are installed (by selecting a device). Sounds more like there is a config file in the project "wrong"... - Altera_Forum

Thanks. I took your advice and downloaded all the devices again. That seemed to do the trick. I think I somehow confused the database since I realized I had an older version of Quartus II installed and I think I opened that by mistake. Anyway, I uninstalled the previous version just in case. Hopefully that won't happen again.
