Honored Contributor --- Quote Start --- The Cyclone family (gen 1) is supported in Quartus II 13.0sp1. See attached screen shot. Maybe you need to go back through the install process to enable that family. --- Quote End --- Thanks for answers. The solution shows up as following: The log file of installation reports that everything went OK. After a search I found out with the Software Selector that version 13.0SP1 of Quartus 2 covers cyclone I, as you showed above, BUT NOT in the free web version that I am using. http://www.alteraforum.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=12355&stc=1 Looking downwards in the selector it turns out that version 11.0 is the highest version of Quartus-2 free lite webversion that includes the cyclone! in the cyclone family of devices. http://www.alteraforum.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=12356&stc=1 Thanks for your cooperation.
