What I would like to do is:
Develop base/core functionality of an Altera FPGA and make available to the user the ability to add custom functionality to the processing pipeline. Our base/core needs to include a piece or two of licensed IP(not cheap) and want to be able to pass an encrypted netlist (ie) of this "core" to the user for them to be able to design and build their custom VHDL with the "core" _without_ having to pay for the licensed IP but rather just having to pay for Quartus (need subscription ver in this case) Does this seem feasible/do-able? How would we go about this? Thanks, Cos
