Can't stop Quartus

I am using Quartus V11.1 sp2. While compiler is running, click "STOP" icon makes it stop. But this is true only when No. of processor is one. If No. of available processors are 4 or more, I cann...

I haven't seen this particular error, but I do manage to lock-up Quartus with JTAG issues from time to time. When that happens, find quartus.exe in the task manager under the processes tab, right-click, and select "End Process Tree", and that seems to work.
