Can't locate entities in files from the Project Navigator in Quartus II V10.1

When I click on an entity in the project Navigator, the wrong files are opened. The entire link between the entity and the relevant file seem to be completely screwed up. It's very frustrating. I...

in 10.1 Web Edition on Linux i can click on various entities in the hierarchy tab and the expected file opens

do you see failures in all of your designs? i thought the problem may be a specific combination of entity names and file structure which is why i suggested a test case
