ByteBlaster JTAG cable under Windows 7?

Allright, mySupport answered that question:

refer to note (2) under table 1 from the following link:

http://www.altera.com/download/drivers/dri-index.html

windows 7 (64-bit), windows vista (64-bit) and windows xp (64-bit) operating systems do not support byteblaster cables.

...hope that it might be useful to someone else.
