Blank window / GUI elements not visible for QSYS and system-console

When starting qsys or system-console, the window stays blank. When clicking somewhere, sometimes a popup is visible, so the GUI elements are there, but not visible. qsys-edit --debug does not give...

I don't know if Quartus is supported in your Linux setup, but I'd try an uninstall, re-download, and re-install.
