Black and white on VGA port

Hi I want black and white video on VGA port, but I donot know what clock I should use! VGA clock or black and white video clock! Can any body suggest me here! Thank You

Hi Tricky

My base clock is 100MHz.

I have used 25MHz clock for 640x480 resolution on vga port.

But the display picture (on CRT display monitor) is not perfect.

The exact clock for 460x480 is 25.175MHz.

But the factors does not exist(for 25.175MHz).

Can you tell me how I can achieve 25.175MHz with the help of PLL ?
