BDF bus signal tap

Greetings,

I have a block design which has some output pins defined, and it has an orthogonal node tool "wire" connected to a single output pin with a label "outpinXYZ." This signal has already been constrained in the Assignment Editor, and I would prefer not to modify it.

Next, I have a symbol which is outputting a large bus "outputBus[0..143]." I would like to take one of the bits from this bus as attach it to the "outputpinXYZ" pin. Is there a way to do this, or am I forced to rename "outpinXYZ" to "outputBus[55]" and then modify the label in the assignment editor?
