    Hi,

Can you try to compile in the latest version, v18.1.1? You may disable some optimization assignments which may cause the long compilation time for routing by clicking Assignments > Settings > Compiler Settings >Advanced Settings (Fitter).

    Thanks.

How much are you filling the device?

You can also try stopping compilation, quit Quartus, and trash the db and incremental_db directories. Start Quartus again and recompile. Something could be corrupted in those directories.
