Dear Intel support staff
Thank you very much for your quick reply. Actually, we purchased several tens of FPGA boards for my class about 15 years ago. Because of financial problems, we have still continued to use these boards in my class. These boards are equipped with ACEX 1K FPGA. I confirmed support situations of this target FPGA on the following web site.
https://fpgasoftware.intel.com/devices/
According to the information on this site, ACEX 1K requires the Quartus II web edition up to 9.0. I tried various Quartus II software versions which does not require installation of a license file before. However all the software did not contain ACEX 1K as a target device.
Now, I could access to the license request page shown below and I could receive a license file.
https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/programmable/f/download/licensing/lic-q2web.html
However, although I specified the license file that was given by email, the Quartus II Web Edition (legacy version) did not accept the license file. After I specified the license file, the Quartus II Web Edition software still requests a installation of a license file.
I cannot prepare the enough number of recent FPGA boards so far. Although I think this is our problem, I would appreciate if your could address our problem.
Best regards
Shigeki Takeda, Ibaraki University, Japan.
