Will Nios II work with 16-bit SRAM?

Sorry about the attachment. It should be here now. I also attached the error log file.

I get an error message in Eclipse when I try to run the Hello_World program saying that Downloading ELF file process failed. I can see in the Eclipse console that it tries to write to the SRAM, but verification fails.
