Using NIOS and ARM Hardcore at once on DE1-SoC board

I have plan to get analog data from ADC of DE1-SoC.

and If possible, I want to do This processing with NIOS in the same time

ARM is running.

Is it possible? I coudn't find any material, or tutorial about this.

    I am too curious about this. Is it possible to use both processors at once, while each one executes its own program?
