Sdram and audio codec

hello everyone , i use kit de2 to record voice and store data on sdram . fre sampling is 8khz ; 16 bits. i don't know 1s how many size the data will store on sdram. 8000 . 16 = 128 kbits right ? sdram on de2 8M bytes and i want to know how many words the data above store in sdram . please help me :(
