Before I do finish for the day, attached are a couple of screen grabs illustrating missing 16 bit values on a hand crafted packet (set to 0x11 0x12 0x13 etc) . 32bit alignment does make a difference, but only in the sense of which/where the 16 bit value is getting lost.

Right now I don't know if it's a MAC to PHY or MAC to SDRAM issue. Any thoughts?
