Quartus II with ubuntu 11.04

Do you have a USB-Blaster plugged into this machine? Is it a real machine or a virtual machine? Virtual machines do not work (at least the latest versions of VMWare and VirtualBox do not).

Did you try any of the tests mentioned in the udev rules comments?

* lsusb should show you the Altera device

* jtagconfig can be used to scan a JTAG chain
