By the way, is the source for the uClibc that microtronix distributes available anywhere? I didn't see it in the zip file.
update: nevermind, I'm an idiot. it's in examples/software/linux/uClibc/ sorry about that. - Altera_Forum

There were quite some changes in buildroot/uclibc and I did not get round to upgrading them again; since our requirements and priorities got changed again :-/ --- Quote Start --- originally posted by cetic@Aug 24 2005, 10:04 AM if you are intereseted, i can post it here when i am finished. --- Quote End --- That would be really nice that somebody picks up/improves the work; from the reactions I got without advertising it, quite some ppl are waiting for a decent Linux toolchain. I understand, that from a commercial point of view you might need a Windows release, but I would never resort to that to get an embedded system working: it would be too much of a compromise and from the results I've seens, it rubs of to the quality of the final embedded system.

Did you read this http://www.nioswiki.com/operatingsystems/uclinux (http://www.nioswiki.com/operatingsystems/uclinux) and this http://www.nioswiki.com/installnios2linux (http://www.nioswiki.com/installnios2linux) ?
AFAIK, the only other Nios Linux distributions that currently is supported can be bought from WindRiver. -Michael
