Looking for development boards to use with Zigbee modules.

​Hello,

The modules have themselves a processor on board.

You could use an arduino with a wifi shield and connect it serially to your zigbee module on one side and use an arduino on the other side connected to your sensor.

As far as tools are concerned, the page you show in your link shows links to Zigbee development tools.
