gcc 4.6.1 anyone?

Hello, gcc 4.1.2, as good as it was in its time, isn't good enough anymore. Has anyone successfully integrated the nios2 backend from 4.1.2 into 4.5.x or 4.6.1? Is there any effort on Alt...

Not in the short term...... Any compiler change open's up a football field can of worms. This is why version 3 and 4 are still shipped.
