About the .init file!

Actually i'm try to communicate NIOS II With Matlab and if i understand When an ELF executable is executed, the system will load in all the shared object files before transferring control to the executable.

I can used this .init file to manipulate parameters of Quartus and NIOS II with a GUI on Matlab?
