I am trying to design a system on De0 Nano board using Quartus Prime. I am trying to add a fir filter in my desing. Thats why i want to use FIR 2 tool. But when i try to add that tool, i get some errors at the begining. I posted the screenshot of the errors in the attachments. I cant find any solutions. Best regards, Recep Onur YILDIZ

I open a new project on Quarus Prime. The info about Quartus Prime is in the pic attached. After openning the project, i add new schematic file in the menu which shows in the attachments. Save it that schematic file. At the end, i try to add FIR2 filter from IP catalog menu. After that i got that errors. I also attached the FIR2 Documentation pic. I was not able to recreate the error. Check which device you are selected for FIR II IP. Only ArriaII GX, Arria II GZ, Arria V, Arria 10, Cyclone IV, Cyclone V, MAX 10 FPGA, Stratix IV GT, Stratix IV GX/E & Stratix V device support the FIR II IP core. I use De0 Nano board. Actually, i designed a filter using same board and Quartus 2. Thats why i dont think the reason of the errors isnt the board. Still, i changed the device and try to use FIR II tool. But i get the same errors. Best regards, Recep OnurHonored ContributorHi,
To which device you have changed? Try to create the new project with device required instead of changing in the previous design? As you said, i created a new project and choose Aria II GX. But still i get the same error. By the way, i realized that when i use the Platform Designer with my De0 Nano boards, i can add FIR II filter without no error. Best Regards, Recep Onur Yıldız
