Is it possible to add on-screen display to the SDI output of an SDI II FPGA IP?

I'm considering SDI II FPGA IP. I plan to display on-screen text (text) on the SDI output of our product. I would like to add logic for text composition. Is SDI II FPGA IP compatible with this ? ...

Hi yamasan ,

Based on my understanding , SDI II FPGA IP is compatible with showing on-screen text on SDI output, but it does not generate or compose the text by itself; you need to add separate text/overlay composition logic in the video path before the SDI II transmitter, and then the SDI II IP will transmit the already composited video stream.
