Is cypress S25fl256S supported for active serial configuration in Cyclone V FPGA

    1] Do S25FL256S flash is supported with cyclone V E FPGA with quartus prime lite 21.1 version

    in active serial configuration?

    We do support S25FL256 for cyclone V and the flash we tested are S25FL256SAGMFI000. Other than that, you might need to check the differences between our tested flash part number with yours. If the flash operation command are similar, it is fine.

    2]What voltage can be given to VCCPGM for AS io, datasheet mentions 3.0/3.3V support? but can it be given 1.8V and used for configuration IO?

    If 3.0/3.3V is the recommended value. It is recommended to use 3.0/3.3V.
