E Tile Hard IP Ethernet - PTP packets flow

Hi, In E-Tile Hard IP for Ethernet, when PTP is enabled, will the PTP packets flow through Avalon-ST MAC interface? or will they be terminated inside IP and timestamp, fingerprint values are share...
