Cycloneiii FIR vs. CycloneV FIRII

what we would suggest is

1) open out the FIR in Cyclone III.

2) open a new FIR II in cyclone V

3) copy the setting from cyclone III to cyclone V.

We dont recommended to upgrade the IP like this as older device that not have this feature.
